DNN 6.1 and mdo:header

Anton,

I made only a quick test with DNN 6.1, but had to rollback because of javascript errors when using external jquery plugins. I'm getting tons of "jquery not available" errors, but this only on external js files I load via mdo:header. My jquery code not using external plugins works pretty good.

For example I have:

<mdo:header position="page">
            <script type="text/javascript" src="/Portals/_default/js/malsup/jquery.blockUI.js"></script>
</mdo:header>

This plugin, like all plugins I think, begins with:

;(function($) {

and ends with:

})(jQuery);

With dnn 6.1, I always get js errors on the last line of all jquery plugins I tested (cluetip, blockUI and some others).

I suspect the new clientDependency API (http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/Client-Resource-Management-API.aspx) introduces a new way for modules to declare their resources, and this is breaking modules that were working good with previous DNN versions.

Did you already take a look at 6.1?

Regards,

al.

Anton,

my fault: just have to specify a different location (module or form, never page) for js inclusions!
