ws.aspx ignores parameters and produces illegal XML ( 01.01.23 DNN 4 and 5 )

description

I have defined the following variable in the first line:
<xsl:variable name="id" select="mdo:param('$id', 0)" />

The module handles ".../Default.aspx?id=12345" correctly, but ws.aspx simply seems to ignore "/DesktopModules/XsltDb/ws.aspx?mod=12345&id=12345" and always uses the default value.
Besides, it adds a span: "<span id="watch-id--1" />" before "<root />".

  1. To get the value of query string (GET) or form (POST) parameter you must use mdo:request, not mdo:param().
  2. Invalid xml and response mime type will be fixed in the next release that I plan to issue on July 31. I Notify you about the release.

Version 01.01.41 goes with correct xml and also allow to manually specify content type.
Please, review:

mdo:service tag for inline service: http://xsltdb.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=mdo%3aservice
